The folk singing workshop is focused on folk songs from Karelia and Finland. We'll sing songs from Viena Karelia, Ingria, and Finland.

Emmi Kujanpää (MA) is a Finnish folk musician who works currently as a folk singer, kantele player, and pedagogue. She teaches folk music in Käpylä Music Institute and Sibelius Academy. 


After the workshop, Emmi Kujanpää will perform in a concert at the Finnland Zentrum. The concert starts at 16.00. Berlin-based choir Perperúna will also perform in the concert.

I'm teaching regularly Bulgarian and Finnish folk singing and kantele playing at Käpylä Music Institute and Sibelius Academy.
